EDOT THIRD STREET COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR
FAÇADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CONSULTANT
The EDOT Third Street Commercial Corridor Storefront Improvement Program (Program)
provides grants, to businesses and property owners, to improve their storefronts. EDOT is seeking the services of a consultant to assist with the operation of this program.
Previous experience in construction project management for small projects.
Flexible and positive attitude, a good sense of humor, patience and integrity.
Responsibilities of the Consultant
Assist EDOT Corridor Manager in identifying prospective applicants and working with applicants to develop a feasible project compliant with the requirements of the Program.
Assist applicant in completing application to EDOT for the program.
Assist successful applicants, i.e. grantee, in securing the services of an appropriate design professional if needed for their project.
Assist grantee in applying for and securing any and all necessary permits.
Assist grantee in developing the scope of work and soliciting bids from appropriate contractors and vendors. Assist grantee in selecting suitable contractors for the project.
Inspecting the work and authorizing payments from EDOT to the grantee.
Assist the EDOT Corridor Manager in preparing a list of accomplishments and features of the completed projects. Assist the EDOT Board in any promotions or celebrations of the completed project.
A total compensation of: THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000.00) for developing and
successfully completing a total of eleven (11) projects. Payment of TWO THOUSAND, SEVEN
HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($2,728.00) to be made upon the final completion of each project.
